Frequently asked questions

Is this workshop beginner friendly?

Yes! All levels are welcome. You’ll be supported every step of the way by our experienced facilitators.

Is the $250 fee tax-deductible?

Yes. Your payment is considered a donation to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is fully tax-deductible.

Is building with HempLime safe? Do I need to take precautions?

The hemp materials can create dust, but the hydrated lime that we mix with the hemp can cause irritation to the skin, which is why we provide and recommend using gloves. When we are mixing the hemp and lime, it can get into the air, so when working with the mixer, we recommend and will provide masks to avoid breathing the lime or hemp dust.

What do I need to bring?

We’ll send a full packing list before the event. Basic work gloves and outdoor gear are recommended. All tools and materials, including masks and gloves, will be provided. Feel free to bring your own.

Can I camp on-site?

Yes! Campsites are available to purchase when on the ticket landing page.

If you prefer a bed, check out the discounted vineyard lodging options.

Can Children Attend?

Yes, and children under 12 are free to attend the workshop.
